Four Decades of Growing Plants for Boise Gardens

Founded in 1983 with a small backyard greenhouse at the corner of Victory and Five Mile in Boise, Five Mile Farm began as a passion project for Chuck and Sharon Gross. What started as growing plants and vegetables for their family quickly grew into a trusted Boise garden center serving the local community.

Hairstyles and fashion may have changed, but our commitment to quality is unwavering!

Today Brian and Jaime continue the family tradition, growing thousands of plants each spring in over 23,000 square feet of greenhouse space and helping Treasure Valley gardeners bring their yards and patios to life.
